I’ve struggled with words. Wrote my first poem when my youngest left for kindergarten. It was about me and my dad. How I believed we loved each other even though we could never say it. That was more than three decades ago. Because of The Word I know now how important words really are.

It’s a grace to be here, sharing with you.

I wrote all hours for five years about my life growing up on the farm. Becoming a mama at seventeen, and walking down an isle that led to some impossible dreams. It’s all there in my memoir, Divine Surprise. A year after that I published God Speaks for Himself. Liar, came out in 2026.

My husband and I just celebrated four decades of married life. We’ve got three grown daughters, two son-in-laws, and four grands—who visit often but never stay long enough. You’ll find pictures of them throughout the blog.

Truly, I thought I knew who God was . . . till I opened the Bible for myself. Now I can’t stop talking about Him. I hope your time here will encourage you to do the same.
