There’s something deeply maternal about putting a book out into the world. All your hard work gets laid out there. Others are free to argue, critique, even tear it to pieces if they choose to. A part of you just wants to keep it to yourself. Safe and unspoiled is how we prefer our passions.
Wasn’t it Jeremiah who said, “His word was in my heart like a burning fire shut up in my bones; I was weary of holding it back, and I could not.” (Jer 20:9) Well . . . that’s where I’m at. I cannot hold back—not one more second. And honestly, it’s time to let it do all it was created for.
This project wasn’t conceived solely for me. I shan’t be the same—and if there’s one more soul who gets closer to Christ for having experienced it—it’s incredibly worth it.
All we who are born of God have eternal work to do. Parents, Teachers, Bookkeepers, Caregivers, Farmers, Electricians—each uniquely gifted for Kingdom work. And we cannot afford to keep Jesus to ourselves. There are prayers to be prayed, beds to be made. We have Truth to share, and meals to prepare. There are repairs to get done, and hearts to be won—and we’re all in this Body building together in one Spirit!
“For whoever does the will of My Father in heaven is My brother, and sister, and mother.” ~Jesus

“Distractions are no accident. Living like we have forever . . . not a coincidence. The prince of the air is getting away with murder, and it’s high time we got serious.”
